Arkansas Urology currently has a clinical trial open for enrollment. The purpose of this trial is to determine whether an investigational drug with Casodex works better than Casodex alone in the treatment of prostate cancer, and to test the safety of the research study drug. If you have metastatic prostate cancer, are on hormone therapy such as lupron or zoladex, have a PSA greater than 10ng/dL and have not taken Casodex within the last 12 months, you may be eligible to participate. Eligible participants will be randomized to receive either the investigational drug and Casodex, or a placebo and Casodex. Study visits are every 4 weeks and will continue until your cancer progresses. You will receive $50 per visit.
